GrantLogic — Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the FaithWorks GrantLogic ("the Service"), you ("Client," "you") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
These Terms apply to the GrantLogic subscription, as well as any associated a la carte or done-with-you/done-for-you FaithWorks services.
2. Description of Service
The Service provides AI-assisted funding education, funding readiness guidance, funding opportunity research, partnership identification guidance, grant and proposal drafting assistance, budget and forms compliance checking, and related outputs (collectively, "Deliverables"), as included in the subscription.
Deliverables may include, without limitation: grant narratives, proposal sections, funder lists, outreach scripts, email drafts, budget narratives, compliance checklists, and strategic guidance documents.
3. No Guarantee of Funding or Results
The Service, its Deliverables, and any FaithWorks staff guidance are intended to help Client prepare stronger, more competitive funding materials. THE SERVICE DOES NOT GUARANTEE, AND FAITHWORKS DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT, THAT CLIENT WILL:
- Receive any grant, award, or funding of any kind;
- Receive a response, meeting, or partnership from any funder, hospital, corporation, government agency, or other entity identified through the Service;
- Achieve any particular outcome from outreach scripts, emails, funder lists, or other Deliverables generated or suggested by the Service;
- Receive any particular score, ranking, or evaluation from a funder as a result of using the Service's QA scoring or review features.
Funding decisions are made solely by third-party funders based on criteria outside FaithWorks' and Client's control, including but not limited to funder budget availability, funder priorities, competing applications, and timing. A well-prepared application improves the likelihood of a favorable outcome; it does not guarantee one.
Client acknowledges and agrees that any statistics, funder information, or research provided by the Service, while intended to be accurate and sourced from identifiable references at the time of generation, may change over time (e.g., funder priorities, deadlines, contact information, or program budgets) and should be independently confirmed by Client before relying on them for a submission deadline or funder outreach.
4. Client Responsibilities
Client is solely responsible for:
- Reviewing all Deliverables in full before submitting them to any funder, including verifying all facts, figures, deadlines, eligibility requirements, and attachments specific to Client's organization;
- Ensuring the accuracy of all information Client provides to the Service (intake responses, uploaded documents, organizational data);
- Any decision to submit, send, or rely upon a Deliverable produced with the assistance of the Service;
- Compliance with all funder-specific requirements, including requirements the Service may not have access to or knowledge of.
FaithWorks recommends Client have any final grant application, budget, or legal/tax-related document reviewed by a qualified attorney, CPA, or other relevant licensed professional before submission, particularly for federal applications.
5. Subscription and Access
The Service is offered as a single monthly subscription that includes GrantLogic functionality described at the time of purchase. An introductory rate may be offered for a limited period; the standard rate applies afterwards. FaithWorks reserves the right to modify features, pricing, and availability with reasonable notice to active subscribers.
Certain FaithWorks offerings are delivered by the FaithWorks team rather than by the software — including human expert review, full customized funding strategy, and complete program design. These are separate services and are not included in the subscription.
6. Data Use and Privacy
Client's information — including intake responses, uploaded documents, and generated drafts — is used only to provide the Service to Client. FaithWorks does not sell Client data and does not use Client data to train AI models for the benefit of other users.
Full details of what is collected, who processes it, and how to delete it are in the Privacy Policy. Client may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting FaithWorks directly. FaithWorks will honor such requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal or contractual obligations to retain certain records.
7. Intellectual Property
Deliverables generated for Client through the Service are provided for Client's own organizational use. FaithWorks retains ownership of its underlying methodology, frameworks, prompts, and system design.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY MISSISSIPPI LAW, FAITHWORKS' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT CLIENT PAID FAITHWORKS FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). FAITHWORKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST FUNDING, LOST GRANT AWARDS, LOST PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR SPECULATIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF FAITHWORKS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS IS INTENDED TO LIMIT LIABILITY TO THE EXTENT SUCH LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED BY MISSISSIPPI LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED OR LIMITED AS A MATTER OF PUBLIC POLICY, FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR OTHER NON-WAIVABLE CLAIMS.
9. Termination
The Client may cancel at any time from the “Your subscription” panel on their dashboard, which opens a secure billing page where the subscription can be cancelled and payment details updated. Cancellation stops any further charges and access continues to the end of the period already paid for. FaithWorks reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service, the Deliverables, or the relationship between Client and FaithWorks shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to Mississippi's conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable federal law or non-waivable law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to These Terms
FaithWorks may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be directed to FaithWorks Collaborative at info@faithworkscollab.com.
Appendix A: Required Checkout Consent Language
The following short-form consent appears as a required checkbox at the point of payment, before purchase can be completed, and links to the full Terms of Service above:
☐ I understand that GrantLogic provides drafting, research, and strategy assistance, and that FaithWorks does not guarantee funding outcomes, funder responses, or results from any generated content (including grant drafts, proposals, funder lists, outreach scripts, or emails). I have read and agree to the Terms of Service.
Appendix B: In-App Disclaimer (Reference Only)
For consistency, the same core disclaimer is built into GrantLogic's own output rules and appears on every grant draft, proposal, or QA-scored deliverable:
"No Guarantee of Funding: This draft/application reflects strong grant-writing practice and FaithWorks' methodology, but no grant writer, tool, or organization can guarantee a funder's decision. Funding depends on the funder's own priorities, available budget, competing applications, and other factors outside anyone's control. A strong application significantly improves your chances — it does not guarantee an award."
